Billy Sims and the Nebraska Rematch

Billy Sims led the country in scoring and rushing on his way to the Heisman, powering Oklahoma through nine straight wins before Nebraska handed the Sooners their only regular-season loss. OU didn't have to wait long for a chance to answer: the same two teams met again in the Orange Bowl, and this time Oklahoma left no doubt, winning the rematch outright. Few storylines capture "Sooner Magic" better than turning a heartbreak loss into a bowl-game statement a few weeks later.

Only regular-season loss was at Nebraska; avenged it 31-24 in Orange Bowl rematch.
