Bud Wilkinson's Sooners rolled through a perfect regular season, stacking their winning streak past thirty games and claiming the national title before a single bowl snap. Then Kentucky happened. A New Year's Day letdown in the Sugar Bowl snapped the run at the worst possible moment, a reminder that dynasties get humbled too.
